XF SV8 sport exhaust
Discussion
Any SV8 owners out there who have upgraded their exhausts? I love my SV8 but find it a bit too tame, especially on the noise front and am considering fitting a sport exhaust. Systems I've seen available are Quicksilver, Paramount and Spires - anyone have any experience of these on an SV8?
Hello,
Sorry, don't normally use the normal PH forums after selling my Monaro. I swapped my Monaro for the SV8 and have a spires exhaust on it - well worth the money and more of a straight v8 vroom vroom noise. Recently attended the xfforum.co.uk meeting and many of the people preferred my exhaust sound to the metalic noise of the XFR (one XFR and one SV8 attended)
Worth it - although you do get a discount by signing up the for xfforum.co.uk and buying direct from spires.
Cheers
Steven

Hi Kith,
You can tell from startup it is a little more throaty but still pretty quiet and to be honest still really refinned. It gets more vroom vroom noised more with the throttle response i.e. you get to hear it a little over speed bumps due to slowing and speeding up but sounds great when you mean to make the noise.
It's not too loud and you will not have any chavy looks and dont worry you can still listen to your S/C whine etc.
Cheers
