Im pleased with the car its better than I hoped heres the minor issues within initial ownership.

Negs

Both front doors rattle
Drivers seat creaks
Missing screw cap in door handle
Service book info not filled out
Sensitive throttle and gearbox (like a switch)
No temp guage
B&W not as loud as I hoped but good just not £1300 good
A/C fiddly but maybe its experience
Get in car listen to radio, pop into reverse and radio goes quiet until your doing 10mph or so - a pain
No whine from SC

Pos

Great engine
Great chassis
Great interior (chrome switches apart)
Great deal
Fast as ....

So far Im loving it !

Which gearbox mode is that in, or all of them?

For the radio issue, you can (in an XKR which I would assume to be same or similar) toggle the proximity sensors on and off using a button above the rear view mirror.

Hi Chris
Mode is normal - in sport its just stupid - its like my AMG in triple sport mode ie super sporty when the Jag is in normal mode - their is no torque as a fart on the pedal makes it drop a cog (or two) very tiresome

Button above the mirror doesnt kill the camera in reverse and going forward it doesnt kill anything till 10mph

It will go in later this month to see what can be done

Im going too fast in the wrong places as its all or nothing on the throttle - wonder if its fly by wire ?

Interesting - I don't find the throttle a problem
What I did notice in the early days of ownership was that Sport mode seemed overly keen to hold a low gear and not change up. but now it seems fine

try using the paddles in sport and dtnamic mode - then you have complete control

shout B&W not loud enough - pardon - you must be deaf wink
