Some low-life has stolen my late father's pride and joy...

Despite having 3 flat tyres and a flat battery, it was removed from our drive in kettering, Northants

Any information very gratefully received

B'stards..

Let the JEC have the details and photos if you've got any and they'll almost certainly put it in the next months magazine as a heads up for you.

Hi Ian it would appear we have a lot in common! - I have had a Stag for decades and you live 5 mins from me!

Do we know each other, or is the Griff on my profile, I dont recall.

I love both - a set of your half-shafts will have to be included in the restoration, when i can find the spare money.

Not driven Griff for a couple of years (and Stag for 15..) desperately looking forward to enjoying the pleasure again before too long

I'm very sorry to hear that.
It would not suprise me one bit if it has been stolen for banger racing, apparently this happens quite a lot with big usually british classics - it has a certain kudos amongst banger racers to race and ultimately destroy such cars however mint they may have been.
Series 3 4.2 jags are pretty much the most popular favoured banger being very strong (no crumple zones) and fast. I shudder to think how many of them met their end banger racing over the years, but as they get harder to find and prices go up, some unscrupulous characters are happy to knick them.
These guys all have the flat bed trucks to steal cars like this in seconds.
It seems a funny car to steal for any other purpose.

I truly hope I'm wrong though, fingers crossed for it's return.

Just for the record I've been a fan of short oval racing for years, not dissing the sport or the people as a whole, just a select few mindless tw*ts.
