close friend now has an xk8 has an issue

car was standing for about 3 months not used battery flat..(dead) recharged. but few elect niggles. window memory lost reset but lost again, also showing traction control falure and abs light up on dash... seem to recall somewhere this can happen at low batt voltage, any pointers again thanks all

As you say the battery maybe be fried now it has been totally discharged. Either give it a dull trickle charge or buy a new one. I think all your issues should be resolved.

traction control failure flashing up on the dash is a sure sign of a weak battery. had this in the past on my xjr

battery up and holding short drive and warnings are off all settings good many thanks
