Independent Aberdeen based Jaguar Specialist wanted

Hi,
Having brought myself a lovely low mileage 2001 XKR some months back and having found an very reasonable priced for mechanical and servicing am looking for a Aberdeen based jag indep for the electrics. Problem as follows:
Only cold air coming through vents, heater seat buttons not illuminating, front fogs not operating. Fuse 3 (circuit for security sounder, centre console switchpack) is blowing when ignition turned on. Having trawled through all the various jaguar forums have found exact symptoms and common concensus is that it's caused by problem with the security sounder. Loath to go to main dealer so looking for jag specialist recomendations in around Aberdeen

In fact some one I know has traveled all the way from Scotland to Reading to have his car looked at and work done

as follow up anyone got good step by step guide to fitting - disconnecting and replacing sounder. Believe its nsf underneath between rad and engine so how can I access to firstly disconnect to test

I had this problem, got a freind more able than me to disconnect the sounder, you need to loosen the bolts on the bolts on the plastic cover and get your hand up inside, from underneath. Needless to say it is much much easier on a ramp.
