6Removing Leaper

Hi All,

My XJ6 (2003 X350) has the leaper on the bonnet and im hoping to remove it and cover the hole with a bonne badge.

Has anyone done this and got any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I have an idea the circular metal Growler bonnet badge found on earlier XJS has the same stud and nut fitting as most Leapers.

Try Eurojag or British Car Parts.

I love the terms Growler and Leaper!

Do any other brands/makes/marques have such affectionate names? ('Spirit of Ecstasy' is a bit a bit formal)

My son's battered old Skoda estate is called Scrapper if that helps...
