XJS Sportback Seats Lumbar Support Wiring

I have some of the XJS Sportback seats in my TVR.
I find they give me backache - but there is an electric lumbar support in the seat which I understand uses an air pump and bladder built into the seat.
There is a 2 wire connector under the seat if I've identified the right connector (they are also heated but I haven't bothered with that either).
Is it simply a case of 12 volts being applied to the terminals in either polarity to inflate / deflate the lumbar support or is it a bit more complicated that that?
