XJ8 Towing an XJ8

Anyone know the legal towing weights ie can an XJ8 tow an other XJ8 on a braked trailer?

I had this dilema a couple of years ago and the answer is no! The max towing weight is either 1.5 or 1.7 tonnes (can't remember exactly!) and an XJ8 (x308) weighs in at 2.2tonnes.

The XJR V8 weighs 1775Kg. It's max towing weight is 1800Kg. So no you cannot. A BJT car trailer to carry 2 tonnes would weigh about 800Kg.

You need to borrow a Disco or Range Rover.
