Are early XKR/XK8 propshafts the same??

No, XK8 is a 4" aluminium tube and the XKR is a 2 piece steel

Are you sure about this? A mate has an XK8 prop, or so he thinks. Its a two piece steel item??

I can't say if they are the same or not but

As different gearboxes the prop length could be different

I am 100% sure as I have both an XK8 and a XKR
