I'd been looking for something a little bit different for a while and after looking over a few over-priced examples, stumbled across this one totally by accident

The car wasn't advertised as being modified, but had the Racing Green Badges on the wings
The car is a 53 2003 Type R, with the mods done by Racing Green Cars in 2006

I contacted Chas Whitaker and managed to get hold of a copy of the original invoice from Racing Green Cars £9000 !!!, the wheels and tyres alone being £4000, plus the following mods:

Engine Management upgrade
Filter Housing Mods
Quad Exhaust
Super charger pulley upgrade
Arden 19" 3 peice Alloy wheels

Claimed 450 BHP

The bonus for me was that the spend in 2006 by the previous owner didn't add any value to the 2nd hand purchase price

I honestly don't know if the Motor Dealer was aware of what he was selling
or if it is typical of the 2nd hand car market, where any previous spend is never returned in re-sale

I bought the car in 2008, and still have a huge grin every time I drive it
