Over the winter my xjr6 doesn't get used. I do start it up every 4 weeks or so and let it warm up. I'd say just start it up and worry not. If you really don't want it to fire up, cut the fuel by flooring the accelerator before cranking. Crank for 20 seconds with foot still hard on the floor. Switch off and let the starter cool down. Fire up after a few minutes later. No need to disconnect anything.

Since November? I'd just check the oil level, start it up and let it sort itself out. You could change the oil first, that way you'd get oil at the top end of the engine from pouring it in. As suggested if you want to turn it over without it firing up then holding your foot flat to the floor will tell it not to inject fuel as it turns over, but to be honest from how quickly the top end noise settles down I think it takes seconds at best to get oil where it's needed.
