Audi A4 B6 Quattro - rumble on tight turns.
Discussion
Had the A4 for just over 2 weeks now, and as I've become more familiar with the car now (only done about 250 miles so far) I've noticed a rumble when negotiating a tight turn, in either direction.
It almost sounds as though the rear diff is locking / locked up (the sounds seems to come from the rear).
The only way I can describe the sound is like that of ABS (when activated of course).
I have Googled this, and come up with one single [url]hit so far|http://www.audi-sport.net/vb/a4-s4-forum-b5-chassis/21986-rumbling-noise-rear-diff.html[url] which sounds identical to what I'm experiencing.
The car has four new matched tyres - so no issue there.
Anyone have any ideas?
TIA.

I had an A4, a quattro sport estate and another A4 (within 18 months) and they were all noisy on the road - moreso round corners! I suspected a wheel bearing on it's way but nothing. I know the guy I sold the avant to and have spoken to the owner of the first A4, both have no issues in the last year of owning!
