S6 Mirrors

Hi Guys

New to this forum, I have posted lots on the Porsche forum though.

Some little b4st4rds stole my chrome mirrors of my 2000 S6. Does anyone know of a good source to get replacement parts.

I will probably fit the A6 mirrors instead which are colour coded.

Good idea. I personally think the silver mirrors are rather tacky anyway.

I'm about to have all my badges removed by the way, as my girlfried had her's stolen recently.

It looks like the Mirrors on the S6 are solid metal, but on the RS6 they are painted plastic, is this the case?

Also anyone know how hard these are to fit?

The theives cut the electric cable, how hard will it be to fix this?

They took the whole unit? Ba5tards...

If you're handy with soldering iron, multi-pin connectors etc you ought to be OK. If not I 'd say the dealership beckons...


The normal Audi door mirror thing is to unclip the mirror, unscrew the plastic housing and work your way in from there...
