a4 2.0 tdi limp mode po299

hi i have a 54 a4 2.0 tdi blb engine with limp mode problems , goes into limp mode but no lights on then after doining it 3 or 4 times mil comes on giving code po299 turbo underboost have cleaned the egr valve it was not bad was almost clean it had recon turbo in march by last owner maf looks new too had a look round pipes but cant see any leaks it does not have a vac actuator on the manifold flap, was going down motorway and it went into limp mode 4 or 5 times always seems to be in 6th gear at low revs when im climbing a hill anyway had a look today with my brothers d900 code reader po299 turbo underboost last freeze frame
