Audi A4 (B8) Juddering clutch
Discussion
Father in law has a B8 shape Audi A4 2.0 TFSI Quattro. Nice car, but we have been through the oil comsumption issue with this engine. Now rectified by a new set of pistons and con rods.
Now the FiL is saying that the clutch is juddering.
Is this a common fault? It seems to be discussed here:

Any idea what I should do? Is it worth approaching Audi to see if i can get money off?
Thanks.

Very slight? Quite normal, they seem to do it fairly early on in life. You'll notice it most pulling away very gently with no throttle on.
Any goodwill contribution will relate to age/mileage. If it's 5 years old and done 60 any garage would say it's a wear item and has simply worn out (the exact life of which is entirely down to how it's used). If it's an approved used car with low miles, impeccable history and not long ago bought then I'd expect a decent contribution.
