Golf Mk7 R - Keyfob

Hi guys,

I wonder if anyone can shed some light?

Went out to the car earlier, pressed button on fob, car unlocks as usual, but on returning to car several minutes later the fob seems to be unable to get me in the car? Unusually the light on the key still lights up, but yet it won't lock/unlock?

The car is only a few months old, so surely can't need programming?

Anyone have any ideas?

Have you tried holding the button down for maybe 30 seconds, might do a reset?

I haven't, no.

It might be worth a go though...

No, nothing! Without my manual I'm not sure if there's some universal re-programming I can do myself involving the key and the Car?

Undo it with the key might reset?

It did indeed reset when opened with Key.
