B8 RS4 20" Tyre Opinions
Discussion
Hi All;
Just approaching a tyre refresh and currently runs P-Zeros.
Has anyone had a better experience with grip / road noise on another brand,
the Dunlop SPs get good reviews.
Also curious what tyre pressures people are running as Audi recommended
are way to firm (in all suspension modes). But might be my old tyres !
TIA,
Gary.

I've got Bridgestone's on mine, very grippy when warm and they look good but not convinced by the amount of tramlining under hard acceleration and cold weather performance. I will probably go for Michelin next, most folk on RS246 don't rate the PZero's at all and on their advice I will avoid.

Word of warning if looking at the Michelin PSS, I have them on my S4 and they are horribly noisy (makes my ears ring!) on concrete motorway surfaces. I am almost at the point of binning them for Goodyear Assy 2's after 1k of use..lemonslap said:

The Michelin's get a lot of praise on the RS forum, can't remember anyone saying they're noisy, but I can tell you that the Bridgestone's aren't great on concrete. I travel the A50 quite a bit and note your comments, thanks.Blue62 said:

They're generally quieter on motorways, they have quite a nice grip loss point in the dry (the Pzero's tend to let go quite suddenly) and they're generally ok in the wet too
Not the most technical answer, but I hope that helps
