Looking for new exhaust tips as I think OEM sounds is perfect, what tip manufacturers do people recommend?

Powerflow? Or alternatives?

I had a custom made catback made from a chap on the R32OC and asked him to fit Genuine Milltek GT100 Tips as they in my opinion suit the R32 and its cutouts the best. The slash cut & rolled tip look like a quality item next to other tips from borla etc which are just standard over sized bean tins and look a bit cheap, in my opinion.

I agree on OEM sounding the best - I had a non res catback and took it off after 2k miles because it did my sweed in! forgot how good the standard system is (with flapper mod)

I'm going for powerflow tips and keeping own system.

You're referring to Luicifer exhausts, I asked if he tips, nope.

Change of tips or nothing is what I'm planning.

Yes Lucifer - I didn't like the tips he offered so I paid extra and had the millteks welded on, the overall system was still far cheaper than a milltek system:

what do the power flow tips look like? you could always buy the Milltek GT100 tips separately and have them welded on to the standard system.

You can't purchase the miltek tips separately tried that route and nowhere will sell them.

Looking at the following product codes.

RAW
VI - poss
RW
J

http://www.powerflowexhausts.co.uk/products/tail-p...

I have asked the dealer if they stock the various options as I'm still not 100%

Nice motor, much better than my crap lol

Are you back with the OEM system? I think it sounds by far the best.

might be worth messaging Lucifer on the OC and see if he'll sell you some separately...he got some from somewhere to be able to fit them to mine.

RAW looks like the best tips there! Vi looks a bit Audi RS so im not sure it would suit the cutouts properly.

thanks, I did look long and hard for a red one in a good spec! sits on BBS CH-R's now and looks so much better.
whys yours crap? lol. OEM is by far the best - I learnt the hard way but atleast I can say I tried a non res. just isn't for me.. unless its on something insane it just doesn't suit a little golf making all that noise lol.

Had a few issues when I first got mine and I didn't want black. I wanted gun metal grey on an 09 plate, so I've got 09 plate black.
It's got most toys I was after
RNS510
cruise
Bluetooth
etc

Wanted sunroof

I messaged him, but he can't help, so it's heading towards a RAW option or magnaflow. Tried to see if DMS could help, but they can't.

All want to sell full systems lol

Cobra parking sensors to be removed in June for an OPS system.

R32 is no where near as nice as my 123d (59) re fixtures and fittings, but the engine smile - I was originally looking for an 09 130/335i

What else have you done on the car?

My thoughts too re the noises from the Golf... Only cars that should be making a noise like that, RS etc.

The most wonderful sounding is V12, V10 and the 911!
