unfortunately i mislaid magazine article hilighting which model was best for tuning - I seem to recall one specific model could easily be tuned to c 300 lb ft?

Looking for cheap performance hatchback / coupe (possibly)

Could somebody plse link me to that article or similar + suggested course for best bang for your buck

You could get the 1.9tdi in 115 130 and 150bhp variants iirc

So I'd have to suggest the 150 would be the best base - although I imagine it's the rarest and I seem to remember camshaft lubrication issues.
