VW Golf Mk7 water leak

Hi guys,
My mums mk7 Golf keeps getting water marks in places. At first there was large stains on the passenger seat, went into the Inchcape and was cleared. She is adamant it wasnt a water bottle knocked over or window left open (usually kept in garage).
It has now recently come back again. One potential reason was due to the seat being moved back and knocking the window lever but that has now been reversed to stop any issue. However, it has now come up again and there is a large water mark above the passenger side rear door and on passenger seat. It went in for a check and Inchcape said it was completely water proof from their tests.
Has anyone else had this issue?
