Buying help..

A3 reliable? seems like the 1.4/1.8T are the better engines from what I've read, only got 1 year NCB and I'm only 20 so anything more powerful makes my insurance rocket. It seems a decent price but has 84k miles on the clock.. Should this put me off? What should I look out for when looking to buy it?
