Replacing a rear air vent tab on a B8 S4

Hi,


Does anyone know if its easy enough to replace the tab which is missing from one of the rear center console vents?

I can buy a replacement double vent on eBay for £60 or purchase a front dashboard vent for about £15, question is will the tab be the same and is it easy to remove and relocate on the rear vent?

Having spent AGES, and I mean AGES, trying to get the vents back together on a MK5 Golf, as one slat had slipped out, I do NOT recommend trying to replace a single slat, they are murder.

Just buy either a full vent and pop it back in or the double.

Just trust me on this.

Slats are fine its the tab that moves and angles the vents.
