S4 B7 rolling ball noise coming from dash, help!

Hi

Whilst driving last night I heard something which I can only describe as a marble sounding like it had dropped from within my dash and it rolled all the way to the left hand side of the dash.

Now when I drive it sounds like there is a ball rolling around in the dash but the left hand side of the dash.
I emptied my glove box and was still getting the 'rolling ball' sound when I take off or break.

Any ideas and how do I get rid of it, most annoying?

Also I have been getting flickering lights, is that just a case of replacing the lights?
