if I take finance to take advantage of the free servicing offer....

can I pay up within a few months the full outstanding
other than the interest I'd have paid til then, are their any penalty fees?

I did this a couple of years ago.

No penalties and kept the free servicing.

Dealer may tell you that you have to make a minimum of three payments, but VWFS told me I could settle pretty much straight away. The three payment thing was probably for the dealer to get their commission or something!
