So... to me it seems very cheap, for the kind of car it is and the mileage. Which is a little worrying. But I dont know a lot about these cars so maybe it's normal? (I've lately been looking at mini coopers and mazda2s.)

If anyone has any thoughts I'd appreciate it smile

I owned a remapped 2005 1.8t FR, 200 bhp from r tech for over a year. Lovely cars, I sold it for £1400 with 80k on it and full service history and no major faults. and not many offers for 3 months.

They are good fast cars, fuel economy for me was around 28mpg but i had a heavy right foot.
I never had a major issues, the 1.8t engine is pretty solid with good oil changes, cambelt. Can be noisy with no faults. The only issues i found on other Ibiza’s is immobilizers issues and rust on wheel arches.

But for this price you should be able to get a cupra.

The turbo is a ko3s which with decat and ramp can make around 220 - 240bhp in both cupra and fr guise as they use the same turbo.

The cheapest cupra withing 60 miles of me is about 10 grand lol. Unless I got for something with over 140k miles on it, which doesnt appeal. too much liklihood of constant repairs

That looks lovely, and I have travelled for my last two cars (once to Norfolk and once to Birmingham), which from somerset it a pretty long trip. That car is in edinburgh though, which is pretty much a long weekend to get there and back haha.

I would always buy from a forum site from someone who has been around a bit, over a trader.

I had Falkens on my car as it had ling longs before and they are pretty good for £240 for the set.

I agree, my last two cars (prelude and an MR2) were both from forums. But the forums I've looked at for the cars I'm after at the moment, the prices seem significantly higher than market value... though in some cases maybe its due to mods etc, but I am looking for a stock car.

fair enough then go and how a look drive, but i personally look out for a 3 door, and not worry too much about the low milage.
