mark 1 Octavia estate

Hi guys,

. I have a fabia 1.2 petrol estate I use for work good little car great on fuel but I see mk1 Octavia estates are looking like a bargain.What are peoples thoughts on these?

I bought a tdi about 10 months ago and I quite like it, it's up to 132k now and it's not let me down yet, I get about 47 mpg from it and I love the fact I can leave it unlocked anywhere , it gets a little noisy above 70 and really doesn't handle very well , but as a cheap runabout it's great

We've a 2001 1.9tdi 172k and counting its like a faithful old dog and despite a few little niggles I can't see it stopping anytime soon which is annoying as when it does die I've promised the Mrs a new motor as the trade in value is 50p
