Hi,
Just a quick note, yesterday we ordered a second hand Audi S4 Avant in Misano blue from Audi West London for my wife.

We pick it up on Tuesday next week.... Can't wait :-)

Pictures to follow, although it is currently still on the Audi website .... http://www.audi.co.uk/used-cars/used-car-locator/a...

Link won't open for me.
Do you mean Misano red. Or Sepang blue?

Gives better handling, but DRC can be noisy (knocking) and drives some owners mad. So half a dozen of one, and six of the other smile

You're thinking of B7 RS4's. S4 dynamic dampers are very different from that. It's basically an electromagnetic valve on each damper ( -and, different again from the magnetorheological system in TT/R8)

The main benefit of the S4 dynamic dampers is allegedly ride comfort if you're just wafting - although I've no complaints about ride with the standard dampers, which is great, at least on 18" wheels.

Despite the rather poor description on the Audi site, your car looks to be a late MY15 Black Edition with the Supersports seats and Tech Pack (HDD Nav). No other obvious options that I can see.

Great color, and good spec. Enjoy it!

Oops I thought it was an RS. DRC on RS certainly an issue with current model too. Is S4 system not the same?
Check this out.

Mine has it, I don't think it's vital. The car is comfy and sporty enough in both modes.

Agreed. I have it, but tend to leave the setting in auto. Great choice btw!! Did you get them to budge at all on the sticker price?

Same here, I use individual, but leave the suspension in auto.

The ticket price isn't a bad one at all. When I was looking to buy mine, similar ones were actually a premium on the new ones (which were close to stopping production at the time)

Agreed. Looks like the residuals are staying strong despite the b9 which is great news.

Yep I got quite a good deal actually.... Which is a surprise.... One thing though our PX car we can't find the V5... We have the little green slip though. We have phoned DVLA and they will send a replacement for free. But we are picking up our car tomorrow, so unlikely to arrive by then.

Will Audi allow us to PX the car without the V5?

Thanks

Awesome car, enjoy!

But tbf im glad you got a better deal as the run out deals on these meant you could order a new one for that price a couple of months ago.

Well picked up the car, it's really really nice to drive... Love it so far, although I haven't had a huge amount of time to drive it as it is my wife's car

I must say on reflection the sales patter at the Audi dealer left a lot to be desired. Lots of pushing of PCP even though I didn't want it, and we were asked at least 4 times whether we wanted the Gap insurance, even though we repeatedly said we didn't.

Other thing I thought was a bit strange, we were spending a lot of money (for us) on a car, and they didn't even leave a little present in the car (chocolates, teddy bear for my daughter - or whatever). Wouldn't have cost them much but it would have been a nice gesture.

Anyway, all good so far....

Now to persuade the wife that we can upgrade it with a Miltek exhaust :-)
