Audi Q5 Bluetooth
Discussion
Afternoon all
Just bought my wife a 09 plate Q5 & it looks like it doesn't have the Bluetooth module installed with the current system (Audi concert sound system) any ideas if this can be activated or requires a module to be fitted? When you press the button on the system it advises that the phone is not active
I'm also looking to get it mapped (south coast) so any recommendations for who to see, or not see would be helpful
Last one on the list is an LED rear light upgrade & xenon front light upgrade, I've looked @ OEM options, has anyone had any experience of after market options, again, good & bad
Cheers

I cant help much with the Bluetooth other than if its not already fitted then a retrofit kit will be needed or an oem upgrade from audi which may cost hundreds of pounds.
You could look at a superchips bluefin for the map, easy to do yourself in less than 15 mins with no special skills other than being able to press a few buttons on the provided handset.
You can remove it at any time and it will be a conservative but safe map.
HID headlight upgrades are a bit of a grey area, the consensus of opinion is that they are not safe with headlights that are not designed to take the bulbs. A bit of research on audi/q5 forums may help you here.
Im just about to take a risk and install an aftermarket kit to a 2005 Passat, no big loss if it does not work out. Will let you know how it goes.
Id recommend looking at products from a reputable supplier though.
