TT mk2 seat belt irritation is there a fix?
Discussion
I am thinking of a Mk2 TT coupe as my daily driver but have found a little niggle with it and I wonder if other people have the same,
A few years ago I tried a Mk1 but found that because of the lack of a B pillar and the low seat belt mounting point, the belt tends to sit very low on my shoulder (I'm "only" 6 feet tall) and gradually slips down off my shoulder even in normal driving. Worse if have to look right over my shoulder at junctions and so on.
This morning I sat in a Mk2 and found it similar though maybe a fraction higher than I remember, though didn't try driving this morning.
So is it just an irritation I would need to learn to live with? Only REALLY matters if I have a good hard shunt and the belt is not in the right place to do its' job properly, otherwise it's just a niggle. First world problems and all that
Anyone any experience? Thanks in advance
