A 1.9 diesel A6 is the antithesis of fast.

Going to depend a lot on your age, 18 with one year NCB will be a lot different to 25 with one year NCB.

Have you tried a Mk5 Golf GTI?

I had my Mk5 GTI when I was 23 and now I'm 25 with a Mk7 GTD. Insurance price hasn't really changed with the extra NCB so I'm not convinced it makes much difference. Admiral/ Elephant/ Bell always comes out by far the cheapest for me.

Skoda Fabia VRS, Seat Ibiza FR, SEAT Ibiza Cupra, Polo GT

Basically any of them with the 1.9 PD130/PD160 engine, can be picked up cheap, throw a stage1 remap on and your laughing.
