A3 etron, hints and tips?

Hi All,

I'm slowly getting more sensible, after a '79 Pontiac Firebird / Chimaera / S3 / A6, I'm tentatively dipping a toe into into electrically assisted motoring in March with an etron on order.

I'm intending this car to be a keeper (at least until the Tesla model 3 is out....). Any hints and tips on extra care for the engine and gearbox? IE gearbox servicing? Long life or annual engine service? Max time I should leave between running the engine (I'm anticipating using the electrics for short distance runaround motoring most of the time).

I guess these cars are relatively new, is there any expertise / experience out there?

I've read virtually zero on them. Would be really interesting to hear how you get on once it arrives

Same here, similar to the Golf GTE aren't they? Sat in one but haven't driven (yet)
