Long shot, I know. Pond life.

Not a longshot by any stretch; I've seen two RS cars recovered fairly recently after the thefts received lots of attention on social media. All of the forums & specialists have profiles on Facebook and Twitter, they'll be happy to share the details. What you want is a car that's too hot to hide anywhere.

Yes it is. Don't know the precise shade of blue but it's a very bright blue, lighter than Scuba Blue.

Condolences but surely you'd rather not recover it.

RS4's seem to be common theft targets in the midlands unfortunately.

Update: car found in village 10 miles away. Interior trashed as scrotes tried to find Tracker but failed . Awaiting assessor to see if repairable. No, not sure whether mate really wants it back

Gutted for your friend. I do not know why these scum do this to cars. Steal it, dump it 10 miles away and interior trashed as they couldn't get to the tracker. Absolutely ridiculous. They deserve their fingers to be removed so they can't do this again.

In early December someone attempted to steal my 18 year old son's 2 month old Fiesta ST, however, couldn't get into it but in the process caused so much damage to the drivers door by punching a hole in it with a screwdriver it needed a new door. He couldn't claim on his insurance as his renewal premium would have been sky high, so I had to pay for the repair. I know my son's car is not a RS4 but it's his pride and joy and the hassle involved in getting it repaired is enough to make your blood boil.

I hope your friend gets it sorted.

bloody annoying when you know you'll get whacked by the insurance renewal. I had some scum lean into my TVR (roof down) and try and pinch the stereo which was some crappy £50 thing and broke all the facia and fake wood. The repair cost was £800 which i opted to cover.
