Got up this morning and seems that my RS6 has been hit overnight, damage to the paint work isn't terrible (there is a scratch along the lip above the grille) out the front grille has vanished. Not sure how this has happened (as the Grille is recessed), nor where it has gone (it is not sitting on the road).

Does anyone know if i can get a replacement grille and how much it will cost? If i do decide to get the front of car replaced, how much will that whole panel cost?

many thanks

Seems odd (i.e., difficult to see the extent of damage on that shot) - where was the impact? rs246.com may be the best place to go as there's an active C7 RS6 forum and a wealth of knowledge there.

Thanks - will try 246.. it is very odd indeed. Damage is relatively light to paintwork so looks like it was a parking incident.. however still very odd at how the grille was removed

I'd say that's the most likely scenario - they won't give a toss about the damage caused in removal so will have just screwdrivered it against the painted bumper to prise it off. Surprised they didn't have the pair though....

Part numbers for replacement depend on PR code - can't see evidence of lighting wiring so most likely:

4G0 807 681 S T94 with PR codes 8T0 or 8T1 and they're £83.08 RRP

If it's got a light in it with PR code 8T4 then 4G0 807 681 T T94 at £102.06

I had that part go missing on mine as well.
Lost the car in the floods before getting round to replacing.

As said above, I think someone nicked it.

i cant see how another vehicle could have physically been able to reach in and contact the grille but not the lower sticky out bit and/or the upp area, so its been nicked to order, pure and simple. ive heard of a few thefts of fog lights and tow eye covers and other exterior addenda in my area.....a real PITA but hopefully cheap to sort.

Probably a neighbour bumped it, took the grill hoping you wouldn't notice. You drive off somewhere, notice the damage and assume it happened anywhere else except outside your house..

Either that or someone nicked it.

Are any of the clips left, if it was broken by accident then there maybe some left in the bumper.

Thanks all for the advice. All very puzzling but do think it was stolen.
