MK5 Golf GTI PCV Advice
Discussion
Hi- The wifes MK5 2007 Golf GTI seems to have a failed PCV- lot of confusion on the internet about these so thought I would ask for some PH collective wisdom!
The PCV seems to have gone through loads of version changes and I have the most recent ordered from the dealer. Apparently once you get past a certain revision- the updated valving means you also have to change the rear PCV/Breather so they work correctly together- can anyone confirm this?
Now the dealer parts man said he had never heard of such a thing.... however he also had never heard of a PCV valve and asked if it was that 'big moony thing on the front of the engine' when I ordered the part

I looked for at least an hour and couldn't find anything half as clear as that! Fair play and thanks for a perfect answer :-)
Well...06F129101P (front) *must* be used with 06F103215B (rear) but the front PCV has been updated yet again, to 06F129101R, but that also works with 06F103215B.Gassing Station | Audi, Seat, Skoda & VW | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
