Volkswagen Passat V6 4Motion - What do we know?
Discussion
It would appear - not alot!
I have a Sharan V6 4 motion from 2003 which I would guess it the same drive train including a 6 speed manual. Its a great engine transmission combination. My Shaz has done 110K miles and has largely been faultless, still on original clutch and engine smooth. Rear diff does make a bit of noise so need to keep on top of diff oil changes so suggest checking the service history. Fuel economy is around 30mpg on long runs and is much better than my 61 S4 FFS!! Like the shaz I suspect the V6 4 motion is quite rare. There is also the W8 version which could be worth searching out. Not a passat owner but hope this helps.

Thanks guys, useful info on the Sharan there, didn't realise they did a 4motion V6, I had an Alhambra for a short while with the 1.8T in was good fun for its bulk!
To cover my bases I popped a thread in GG, some useful info on it here in case anyone comes searching http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...
