first time ever that im taking one of my cars to the stealer... anyone in particular i should look out for. its a routine service. is the video cam thing any good??

whats the best way to give them specific instructions as i expect the tech wont be there in person when i do the handover.. shall i call beforehand, leave a note in the car???

Absolutely no point in giving any instructions, I don't think they can read.

If you have been offered the fixed price service, do check that this does cover the servicing requirements specified in the service book, it was short on my car.

I am using an independent specialist now...

Which 'heritage model' are you expecting them to support?

As one who seems to have such little faith in Aylesbury Audi (aka the stealer) why have your car serviced there?

I would use a specialist in whatever heritage model you have, techs are pretty clueless on anything other than current models and even their knowledge of these is patchy so something they can't plug in and diagnose I wouldn't be hopeful for!
