Audi TT mk1 ESP/ ABS Woes

Just looking for some advice, I ended up for some reason buying an Audi TT mk1 from a mate of a mate in the pub a couple of weeks ago.
I picked it up, and noticed that the airbag, ESP and ABS lights were on. I got the VAGCOM and sorted the Airbag light (cable was disconnected under the seat).
So onto the other problems, initially VAGCOM was saying there was a problem with the Haldex, which turned out someone had pulled fuse 31.... which then meant that I got error code 01542 Yaw rate sensor electric circuit failure. I have changed that with another and I am still getting the same error
I was just wondering whether anyone can give me any pointers on where to start looking now?! I can't see anything obvious with any connectors.
