Audi A6 Avant No Audio

Got up this morning and he radio doesn't work, nor the cd not the voice commands and I can't change some of the levels on the MMI. I have a 3G system installed, no DAB radio though.

I have done a reset of the MMI. Setup/button/top right etc this made no change.

I suspect the amp has died. This is a 6 year old car so possibly failed.

Should I get a replacement amp? Can I upgrade to dab at the same time?

DAB is a separate addon module, it can be done for £200ish of parts.

The Amp? I'd get the system scanned with VCDS or similar, see what faults are listed.

As well as the diagnostics I would also try a hard reboot ie. disconnecting the battery for a few mins.

I'm not an expert, just saying what I'd do.
