S4 Dash Warnings not working

Hi all - I've got a B6 S4, and for some reason some of the dash warning lights aren't working. So far the "low washer fluid" warning isn't working (I ran the washers dry today with no annoying beep or picture), and I have a suspicion the low oil warning doesn't seem to have kicked in (manually checked and it was on the low side). I'm going to run the petrol down below 30 miles range to see if that one is working, but any idea where I can start troubleshooting, or other things to check for ?

As always, first thing is check for is any fault codes, your local dealer or independant Audi specialist can do this. Is the DIS working at all as thats where washer low, oil etc should show.

If by DIS you mean the middle display, then yes seems to be ok (other than warnings) - it's displaying the music track titles etc., just not low fluids - I'll put vagcom on to see if there are any codes, or pop it into the specialist. It's a weird one !

Yes, its called the Driver Information System hence shortened to DIS. If youve got access to Vagcom you should be able to at least get a clue whats causing it.

Ran out of time this weekend but will hopefully have a look next w/e and keep an eye on the oil until then !
