A4 B7 3.0 tdi quattro Stutter (2005)

I have just noticed this morning that my car has started to have a slight stutter under acceleration.
It is fine pulling away from junctions but as soon as it hits about 2k rpm its feels like there is a bit of a stutter / judder, it does this in all gears, no worse in 1st than it is in 4th.

If it was a petrol car I would think there is a slight mis-fire.

I have just had new tyres on the front as there was wear on the edges due to under inflation. Back tyres still have plenty of tread so no major difference in diameter.
I have also just had a new drivers side wheel bearing fitted.

Any ideas on the cause?

Check the MAF. Try to get it plugged into a VCDS or similar should be able to guide towards the problem cause.
