Driving this morning in Audi A3 1.8 TFSI, very wet conditions, I go up a hill and around a corner at about 45mph maybe 50mph, the road surface is a bit rubbish on this corner, a little bumpy. As I'm coming out if corner my dashboard starts beeping, the traction control light is on, the abs light is on, and the handbrake light was flashing on and off.

Brakes seemed to work fine, as did handbrake. I just took it steady, got to my destination, turned car off and on again, lights all gone.

Anyone got any ideas?

Not sure whether to see if it happens again or take it to my regular independent, see if he will plug it in.

Had similar in my S4 not long after I bought it. Seemed as if the traction control/ABS had a bit of a brain fart .... As you say - I pulled over - went round the car all fine - switched it off/restarted and all lights had disappeared. Not had them come back on (well traction control maybe but that was by choice ..... wink ) And that was over 2 years ago now.

Yeah I searched google and lots of people seem to have had similar issues with causes varying from full abs system replacements, wheel bearings, sensors etc...

Maybe just wait and see if it happens again?

Scan it with diagnostics it will tell you what the fault was.

It won't be ABS module so don't panic.
Abs module gives you ESP light ONLY and g201 error.
