R8 tracker Essex

Just bought the missis an R8 and the insurance company want a cat 5 tracker on it,anyone in Essex that cheap??

My insurer insisted on a tracker when I bought my R8 quite recently. After a bit of shopping around I found a number of other insurers who would cover it for a similar premium but didn't require a tracker. I ended up going with NFU Mutual.

What R8 spec did you end up with?
If used, did you go private or dealer / main dealer?

Nothing other making conversation as I'm considering a gen1 V8! Overall there's a lack of posts on here of peoples buying experiences, preferred spec & quality of advertised stock in the market.

Sorry,just the ole alarm bells start ringing as I'm putting on here the other half has no tracker on her car! LOL. The answer to your question is its a 15 reg V8 spyder,I chopped in her GTS boxster and to be honest the R8 doesn't feel as quick! I couldn't see the point in getting her a V10 as she doesn't really go nuts anyway and I'm only aloud to drive it when the tank is empty! Well put together though.

NP & nice spec! Surprised to here the Boxster feels quicker.
Starting up to find an empty tank sounds familiar!
