I have an Audi A5 which I have owned for just under a year and the vehicle has now done approx 20,000 miles. Previous to me, the vehicle was owned by Audi as a demonstrator for 11,000 miles.

The paint on all four alloy wheels is peeling off. See the following web site for pictures.

A professional alloy wheel refurbisher told me the rims had been subject to an inferior "smart-repair" and the rims had not been properly prepared.

Are these the original rims for the vehicle?

Does anyone have any similar experience and what was the outcome?

Yeah those are the one that I thought were on the pre facelift, my mistake, normally flaking comes from the Acid at the foreign car washes, saying that nun)4 plate is on 60k and had only ever been washed at them, had many months of brake dust left on them yet they still come up perfect when washed, I'd say there is a an issue with yours certainly

All too common problem these days thanks to dealers routinely refurbishing alloys using crap smart repairs.
