Audi R8 V8 Fog Light Bulb Replacement

I need to change the fog light bulb located in the rear diffuser, but cant see how to remove the light or mesh grill below it to gain access?
Any ideas?
Why couldn't they just have designed it with couple of screws to hold the unit in place so you can could the bulb easily?!

I'm not certain but I think you have to remove the rear bumper cover.

Rear bumper off Officially.

But you might be lucky and just remove the air scoops and undertray. Then get your hand up.


You have to CUT the bulb holder out of the unit. For reasons known only the Quattro GMBH they glue it in.
