Golf 2017 Update?

Just wondering if anyone has any firm details on the supposedly-impending facelift on the current mark 7 Golf?

Googling it brings up a lot of speculative car-magazine artists impressions and guesswork, but nothing concrete.

It will have the new VW group 9.2 inch touchscreen (probably as an optional extra) it could potentially have a virtual cockpit option and I would bet that any xenon lights will be replaced with an LED system of some sort.

Mags are suggesting that climate controls will be replaced with a smaller touchscreen however the images I have seen make the console look tacky and very un-VW so not sure how reliable that info is

Checking in, I have ordered a GTD Estate as a company car as with the same spec it seemed to work out a bit cheaper than an Octavia vRS.

Not too fussed about the update, but interested to see what it will include. Does the GTE already have LED headlights?

Yeah the GTE/e-Golf has LED lights anyway, I'm guessing they will filter down as xenons now are a bit power hungry in comparison to LEDs which are often as good or better

I was fairly impressed by the dynamic main beam on my parents Tiguan, whilst obviously a simpler system than on a BMW or Audi it seemed to work fairly well.
