A chap I know has owned a very nice 2006 tt clubsport for 6 years, he is replacing it with a four seater and needs to sell.

Do these models fetch a premium or attract enthusiasts? If so where is best to advertise it.

The TTOC forum has a £25 joining fee, is it worth joining up?

Any advice welcomed.

Do you mean Quattro Sport 240 which was a limited edition of 800 coupes with a tweeked 1.8 20vt and some Recaro front seats.

They are certainly worth a few grand or so more than a equivalent standard 225 or 3.2V6 models

Yes that's the one, any guesses on a value?

If its of any help I know of a 2005 TT QS with 25k miles that sold very recently for c. £15k.

Cheers, Whatty.

Thanks Watty, this one has done almost 90K but still looks new, it's difficult to know what to ask for it.

It's not that hard to look on EBay and see there are 13 (so much for rare) currently listed ranging from £7-9K depending on mileage.

More telling is the completed listing showing that only 2 have actually been bid on and sold both at around £7k

One of the most underwhelming cars I have ever owned. Slow and heavy are the things I remember most from my 8 weeks of ownership.

Well, it's lighter and faster than an ordinary tt !

Not really my cup of tea but good looking nonetheless, the bucket seats are superb but more suited to someone younger than me.
