Audi TT water leaking

Hi,

I have had an Audi TT Roadster 2003 MK1 1.8 2dr convertible for a number of years now. Last year I started to have an issue with the passenger footwell being wet and when I say wet it was soaking. Eventually I took it to a garage who charged a small fortune to fix the problem but without ever explaining what to do if it happened again. I now have a similar problem again but this time the water is gathering in the boot and the drivers footwell. I was wondering if anybody had experienced a similar problem or if you have any suggestions on how to fix the issue. The problem is only occurring when it is raining, are there any drainage locations that may be blocked?

Could be the plenum chambers.

If it has a sunroof, the drains are probably blocked.

Other possibility is the plenum area under the bonnet is flooding.
