Audi RS6 on site pre-purchase inspection

Hi all,

I'm looking to buy a RS6 - C6.

Getting vendors to agree to move the car off-site to a remote specialist is proving near-impossible, especially considering they're often far away. I can see their point of view - even if I do put down a deposit.

Does anyone in the PH massive know of anyone who can do a decent on-site inspection?

In particular, I'd be after someone who knows about these cars, can spot things like previous crash/incident damage and perhaps could plug in a laptop to check obvious fault codes etc. I realise this will be a limited nspection by not having ramps - although perhaps we could use some local ramps to do this?

OFC I'd be happy to pay travel for any engineer/inpector to visit the car.

Does this type of service exist? Or is the inspection they could do on-site so limited there would be no value in it?

AA will carry out vehicle inspections, obviously they aren't expert in every car but better than nothing! They do look underneath too, I'm guessing on jack stands.

Cool - I guess I'm a little wary of large organisation inspections as they'll be formulaic? IE. Here's our 124 point tick box exercise, but we won't tell you about the overspray behind the bumper after it was pranged

Where in Oxfordshire as MRC are in Banbury, and are well respected independent Audi S/RS specialists.

MRC was the right shout but they're booked until January :/

Will look at audi sport. Audi246 haven't approved me. (can't blame em)

I used them when I bought my Audi A4 B6, PM me and I can try and email you the report I got for my car to give you and idea of what they do.
