The ad does state - "new engine with all the paper work". Presumably the stated mileage is since the new engine was fitted?
But was it really a 'new' engine? I ask because my Son recently drove his car through a flood and killed the engine. The cost of a fitting a new engine would be more than the car's worth and he doesn't want to claim on the insurance (young driver, huge increase after a claim etc.) so he's getting a used engine fitted for a reasonable price.
We have no way of verifying for certain the mileage of this engine but in all likelihood the 'new' engine will probably have done more miles than the original (car is very low mileage) so, should the mileage be 'reset' to zero, continue as is or be set to the mileage of the 'new' engine?
Either way, the rest of the vehicle has still done the miles...

Surely there's nobody gullible enough to pay anywhere near that for it?! Even if the mileage was genuine, with it being cat D it's worth sweet FA in book value terms. with that galactic mileage it's worth about 10p
Indeed, it looks like something that was built from leftovers at a breakers yard.I recently sold an A3, 3.2, DSG, OK so it was a year older than this but was a genuine one-owner, full Audi history with just 90k and in immaculate condition - I wish I'd got half the asking price of this one...
