Decent cars generally, and were made before the Audi cost-reduction that emerged as the A5. The only point of note from my two cabs were persistent rattles under the dash on the passenger side. Could just be diesels, as I believe it was the plumbing for the aux heater. The roof rubbers need regular lubrication too, but other than that they are pretty bomb proof.

Do most recommend Audi servicing, keeping in mind the car will be pushing 10 years old or use a trusted competent local ? Not sure what Audi are like for servicing cost.

Good reputable indie. Audi will cripple you with their labour charges. No advantage in dealer history at 10+ years old when the car isn't worth a lot anyways.
